Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I have been loving working with the templates from Sandra's Scrap Shop...
I thought that a lantern would fit for this challenge...it worked up so quickly and easily!!...
this is the front...
the back...
this is "Singing in the Rain" HMUR1064...
coloured with my copics...
I dusted the window cut outs and whole frame with metallic silver paint for a more metal look
and carried it through to edges my image for a more finished look...
I strung some crystals with silver thread to hang like rain drops...
flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts...
closer view of "Singing in the Rain"...
the rain drops are covered with Glossy Accents but I couldn't get a pic that showed them well...
the top with the sentiment...computer generated...and some more crystals hanging from the cheesecloth and large acrylic bead...
the back of the lantern features "Gentle Rain" HMKR1033...
also coloured with my copics...
closer view of "Gentle Rain"...
top view...you can see the battery operated tea light...

Now you really must go on over to House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge and check out the gorgeous makes that my VERY talented teamies have to show you!! ReplyDeleteBeth, what a beautiful lantern! You are the Queen of fussy projects!! Love everything about this one. The mouse images are perfect and color work is awesome. Love all the flowers too. And the rain drops on the roof and windows looks so real. A gorgeous project as always.
ReplyDeleteThe sun was shining here too, but has disappeared, some rain this afternoon, but the grass is greening up, birds are out and about, and plants are beginning to sprout up, so think Spring is finally sneaking in. Enjoy the rest of your day.
Hugs
Sue
