I'VE MISSED MY MAGGIES!!!!

Hello dear blogging friends!!!

I have to tell you that craft time has been scarce lately and I haven't had a GOOD play with any of my craft items in a long time and have especially MISSED my Maggies...hence the title of this post...LOL!!!

Any way I have been trying to finish another piece of my Tilda Town for over three weeks now and YEP I finally did it!!

So what does my Tilda Town need next...hmmm...well what girl doesn't love to visit the beauty salon...SOOO...

Here is where my Maggies go for some hair pampering...

distressed the outer edge with Ranger Peacock Feathers distress ink...
the oval was distressed with the Tim Holtz distress tool and then inked...
decorated with ribbon, flower , pearls and wooden butterfly...

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #123-"Main Colour Red"!!

Good Friday morning all!!

Today starts a brand new challenge at Fussy and Fancy hosted by our oh so VERY talented Celine!!  Celine has chosen "Main Colour Red" as her theme...we are being sponsored by Crafty Sentiments!!!  Now how easy is this with Christmas just around the corner!!!

I chose to use Crafty Sentiments "Cold Christmas" for my image and YAY I have my first Christmas card of 2014!!!

Here is what I came up with...

I added Polar White flower soft to the ear muffs, muffler and coat bottom trim...
 stick pin decorated with snowflake charm, red beads, silver trimmed white ribbon and chiffon/pearl clusters...
the sentiment/ornament stamps are by Whimsy Stamps...
the snowflakes were made using Crealies Creative Flowers...
decorated with Stardust and small red rhinestones...
 opening up...
I punched a snow flake border on both front edges using a Martha Stewart edge punch...
I added lace/ribbon down both sides, small snowflakes punched with a Martha Stewart punch...
 the inside sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp...
the corners are punched using the Martha Stewart corner punch...
the small snowflakes are from the cut outs of the punch...

Fresh Brewed Designs Fall Flashback!!!

Good Monday morning...it's been a while!!! 

Today Fresh Brewed Designs is taking a trip into the archives...we're dusting off all those wonderful fall images that Heather has created for us in the past!! 

My teamies and I have chosen images from various collections...I can't wait to see what the others have to show us all!!
