Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia-"Fun in the Sun"!!

Good Sunday morning dear crafty friends!!

Hope that you are all enjoying a wonderful weekend!!  It's a celebration weekend for us...as our oldest Grandson turns three today!!!  Yes our darling Quinn is three...how time flies!!

Tilda is matted on burlap ribbon and cheesecloth inked with distress ink Faded Jeans...

 this hip little darling is "Surf Tilda" from the World Wide Web 2015 collection...

coloured with my copics and a little shading with my prismas...

I added a touch of Shabby Taupe Frantage for a sand effect...

 just had to show you a close up of this charm...

how CUTE is that??!!...

mounted on ribbon and crystal stick pin...

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #121-1, 2, 3

Good Wednesday morning dear bloggers!!!

Today at Midweek Magnolias we are beginning a brand new challenge...it's 1, 2, 3...this stands for 1 image, 2 design papers and 3 embellishments!!  As always our most wonderful sponsor is Magnolia Sweden!! 

Okay let me tell you that the hardest part of this challenge for me was keeping it to 3 embellies!!  I may have exercised a little bit of creative license here!

3.  Shabby Seam binding-wraps the image continues across to a half bow...

a tulle/pearl cluster adorns the half ribbon...then a butterfly charm as #3...

card base was cut using Go Kreate #360020...

Marvelous Magnolia Challenge #100-"Anything Goes"!!!

Good Monday morning dear blogging friends!!

We're SO EXCITED at Marvelous Magnolia...today we begin our 100th Challenge celebration with a blog hop!!!!  There is no particular order to the hop and you have until the challenge closes to leave your comments for chances to WIN!!! 

Our theme is once again "Anything Goes"...now how easy is that AND you have a chance to win a prize from the fabulous Live and Love Crafts AND enter your card into our challenge (in the appropriate category) for a chance to become part of the Marvelous Magnolia DT!!!!! 

AND the DT will be sending out our cards to winners who comment on our blogs!  In order to be eligible to win a DT card you must be a Marvelous Magnolia follower and a follower of that DT's blog!!  Some of the DT have added yummy candy of their own along with their card to a follower who comments...and I am one of them!!!!  I will add one Magnolia stamp along with some embellishments to my card package!!

since we're sending these out I decided to use some of my favourites...

the base was cut out using Go Kreate die #360030...

DP is Maja design...

the darker base one is from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection. (12 X 12)..

the two other patterns are from the Vintage Spring Basics 6X6 pads...

I've also used the reverse side of them...some became covered when I started to embellish...lol...

 a different angle...I was having some lighting issues when photographing...

 and one of my favourite Tildas...

who can resist "Devine Tilda" from the Waiting for Christmas 2013 collection...

dusted with another favourite...Frantage of course!!...

surrounded by yet another fav...cheesecloth...

 I went through all my sentiments to try to find something appropriate...

I used two LOTV sentiments..."Just Because" and "You're Marvelous"...
 since we are CELEBRATING with our "Marvelous" followers it seemed appropriate!!...

I added a film strip die from Joy Craft #6002/0278....

flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts...

there IS some lace under there...

 butterfly is Cheery Lyn Designs #DL 113AB....

topped with a Tim Holtz fountain pen tip...another fav of mine...

 this butterfly topped with pearls is also from the same die...

the jeweled pin is from The Funkie Junkie Boutique...

the tags are from a LOTV tag set...

 these three different papered tags cut with Magnolia Doohickey dies...
