Lazy Summer Days...

Hello all...hope you are well!!

So...my minds been all over the map...thinking about what to do for my next Tilda Town addition!!  This...maybe that...can't give you specifics cause they're still in the mind...rolling around for future creation...my mind finally settled on something summery!!  There are so many wonderful summer creations out there...Magnolia-licious has a FANTASTIC "Summer Hop" with so many beautiful creations to feast your eyes upon AND Totally Tilda has an "All at Sea" theme...how perfect is that!!  Time for Magnolia has a "Summertime" theme!!

So summer it is...where to begin??  Well...as a kid how FUN was it to have your own lemonade stand...and then there was going to the beach!!!

Ah...ha...why not lemonade at the beach???

Better yet lemonade on a shabby chic beach...LOL!!!!

Now close your eyes...imagine those lazy summer days...Tilda style...

please click on the first image for a closer view and slideshow...
I covered a 12X12 piece of chipboard with cheesecloth dies with tea...
made some "dunes" before adding the cheesecloth, added Frantage and shells...
here is Tilda's beach front lemonade stand..
 Edwin catering to the ladies...
maybe I should have called it "Edwin's Beach Front Stand"...LOL!!!...
this is "Edwin Catching Fish" I masked out the fish and added a lemon...
 here is "Splash Tilda"...
she is sitting on a rock that I brought back from a beach in Nova Scotia...
it was my Father's favourite beach that he would visit when visiting his brother there...
here is "Summer Beach Tilda"...

here is "Bikini Tilda"...

this is "Tilda on the Beach" (the one in the front)...
on the right is "Summer Bathing Tilda"..
and left is "Seashell Tilda"...
"Open" for business...
the other side does have a "Closed" sign...
all beaches must have a sand castle...
this is made from "Delight" molding clay, painted and Frantaged...
sign guiding us to the "Beach Front Stand"...
a bowl that I made with circle dies, run through distress inked Tim Holtz wood grain embossing folder...
lemons made with the molding clay and coloured with yellow copic...
I added a small green starburst for the stem...
the lemonade containers are made with circles cut from DP and acetate...
the pink and yellow "lemonade" is beads...
pearl knob and spouts are from my stash...
and this is one of the beach umbrellas that I made with a dowel, circle of DP and ruffled ribbon...

So that is the latest addition to my Tilda's Town!  I'm hoping that we are able to enjoy lots of "lazy summer days" in the months to come!!!
