Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia-"Anything Goes"-With a Baby Shower Explosion Box!!

Good Sunday morning dear blogging friends!!

It's time once again for Team Glamour to remind you to come on over and join us at Simply Magnolia with our current super easy challenge of "Anything Goes"!!!  We are being sponsored this challenge by the wonderful Stamp and Create!!

Well I figured it's been awhile since I have made an explosion box...well really not that long...but I DO love creating explosion boxes...lol!!  And what better time then when we have a new baby coming into the family!!!  I have a baby shower to go to for my nephew's wife and they are having a girl so...WOO HOO...pink and frills!!!!!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
and I really am going have to learn how to cut down on the photos because...YES...this is another picture heavy post...
this super sweet image is "Delivery from Heaven" from the Special Moments 2013 collection...
coloured with my distress inks...
this beautiful lace threaded with ribbon is From Live and Love Crafts...
the front...
this sweet little darling is "Sleeping Baby Tilda"...sorry can't remember which collection...
the matt was cut out using Spellbinders Classis Ovals Large...

tags are computer generated...
the lid has a glass knob that I have almost completely hidden with goodies...ooops...
flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts...
closer view of Delivery From Heaven tags...
the baby charms are from my stash and The Ribbon Girl...
two of the sides are decorated with the same flowers arrangements...
the paper is from my stash so can't remember who it's by...
the box exploded...
the shoe was made using Joy Crafts "Billie's Shoe"...
I just couldn't resist adding a stick pin in the shoe...lol!!...

So that is my baby shower "card"...now I just need to get it there in one piece!!  Last time I made one as a shower gift I dropped the gift and explosion box on the driveway on the way in...not sure if I was more upset about dropping the gift (which was breakable) or the explosion box...LOL!!!

Time for you all to get busy and join us at Simply Magnolia for "Anything Goes"...we can't wait to see what you have in store for us!!!

Challenge I wish to enter:
Creative Fingers-Challenge #65 "Anything Goes"
Magnolia Mania-Challenge #105"Special Kinds of Cards"

Until next time...thank you for taking the time to stop by!!  Your visits and comments are SO very much appreciated!!

  1. Wow, Beth this is incredible. Stunning!!!!! So gorgeous and worth every minute you must have put into making it. I would have cried like a baby if I had made this and dropped it. I understand your dilemma of why your were crying when that happened. Enjoy your day.

  11. hiya honey this just stunning, you certainly know how to put an exploding box together, I am certain that your niece will LOVE IT!!! How you managed to fit all of those beautiful pins, flowers, ribbons into such a small area is beyond me honey. I adore those tags they kinda give it an orchid feel with the frantage on them and that little shoe is adorable. Please dont drop this one, it would be a tragedy to ruin it!!!
Yes I have a badly broken leg with metal plates and screws inside and 6 months of recovery, painful too, I posted some info on my cherub card, Not a happy camper at the moment he he! Never mind.
