My the week goes fast when you have a long weekend...lol!!! I'm here today to tell you about our brand new challenge at Midweek Magnolias...for the next two weeks we want you to create a shaped card to inspire us!! As always our fabulous sponsor is Magnolia Sweden!!
I love making shaped cards...so many possibilities!! I have seen the rocker style card on many blogs throughout blog land so thought that I would try my hand at one!
Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I created the "rocker" using Spellbinders Grand Calibur Circles...
the card base is cut out using Go Kreate #360020...
DP is Magnolia...
this little sweet heart is "Ribbon Dance Tilda" from the Little Circus Moscow 2013 collection...
coloured with my distress re-inkers...
sprinkled with Shabby Wine Frantage...
bordered by ruffle ribbon and mounted on cheesecloth...
a closer view...
the butterflies are Memory Box "Kaleidoscope Butterfly" cut from DP mounted on Memory Box "Moonlight Butterfly" cut from cardstock...
dragonfly is also Memory Box "Willow Butterfly"...
the stick pins and charms are from The Ribbon Girl...
the rhinestone butterfly, bead string and large "pearl" are also from The Ribbon Girl...
the inside...
I will add a sentiment when it's ready to go to a new home...
And that is my shaped card...won't you join us for this FUN challenge??!! You should see the stunning shaped cards that my teamies have to show you...hop on over to Midweek Magnolias and pay them all a visit!!
