Fussy and Fancy Challenge #151-"Flowers"

Happy Friday my dear blogging friends!!

Hope that everyone is well!!!!

Today at Fussy and Fancy we begin a brand new challenge hosted by our wonderfully talented Jo!!!  Jo has chosen "Flowers" are her theme for the next two weeks AND we have two fabulous sponsors...Magnolia-licious and Sweet Lilac Flowers!!!  How exciting is that??!!

Time to celebrate my Mom's birthday soon...so a birthday card it is!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I made a simple card with a cut out...the image on the inside...
DP is from my stash so not sure who it's by...
the cut out was made using Spellbinders Grande Ovals...
framed with lace...
this little darling is "Golden Week Tilda" from the Boho 2015 collection...
coloured with my copics...
I added liquid pearls...
framed her with lace and bead string...
bow is made using Tim Holtz Bow Die topped by an acrylic flower...
stick pin is decorated with beads and mounted through chiffon bow...
 butterfly is Cheery Lynn Designs...
I used the bead stands to make a tail...
glass ball with flower is from Hobby Lobby...
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" is Hero Arts...
 butterfly is Cheery Lynn Designs...
I used the bead stands to make a tail...
 flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts...
feathers are from Hobby Lobby...
 the other corner...
card opened...

And that is my Mom's birthday card!  Won't you hop on over to Fussy and Fancy and check out the fabulous makes of my talented team mates!!!

  9. Absolutely gorgeous, Beth. Your mother will adore this. Love the warm autumn colours--perfect for a fall birthday card. Love the window feature--very inspiring. The liquid pearls remind me that I have several bottles but hardly ever use them...ha ha. Love the card.
