It's so nice to finally have some nicer weather...it feels like Spring may be finally here...fingers crossed!! With that in mind we begin our brand new challenge at Fussy and Fancy!! Our oh so talented hostess for the next two weeks is our Vannessa who has chosen "Springtime Flowers"!! We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge...Marianne Designs and Sweet Lilac Flowers!!!
I have been trying to go out of comfort zone...using stamps and colours that I don't normally use...so instead of grabbing for my beloved Maggies or House Mouse I went into my Wild Rose Studio stamps...I have LOTS of stamps that have never seen an ink pad...lol!!!
Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I made a gate fold card...
cut one side with a Martha Stewart flower border punch...
DP is from my stash...sorry can't remember who it's by...
and four different Marianne Design die cuts...
and this sweet stamp from Wild Rose Studio "Bluebell with Basket"...
closer view of Bluebell...
coloured with my copics...
and the Marianne dies LR0150, LR0151 and LR0227...
the leaves from LR0117...
stick pin, ribbon, beads and flower charm...
the decorative matt from LR0117 along with the others...
the inside LR0117...
I will add an appropriate sentiment when needed...
So that's my finished "out of the comfort zone" card...time for you to hop on over to Fussy and Fancy and check out the gorgeous projects that my talented teamies have to show you!! Then won't you join us...we look forward to seeing what you come up with!!!
All materials are listed and linked above.
Until next time...thank you for taking the time to stop by!! Your visits and comments are SO very much appreciated!!!
