Fussy and Fancy Challenge #161-"Green and Pink"

Good Friday morning dear blogging friends!!

I'm excited to bring you my post today as I am the hostess for the next two weeks at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge!!   I chose a colour challenge "Green and Pink" as I thought that we...well I anyway...needed some Spring like colours and inspiration to get us/me out this winter funk!!! We are being sponsored by one of my fabourite on-line shops Magnolia-licious!!!

Also I have been itching to try out the "Birthday Calendar Box/File" that I have seen recently on several blogs!!!  You can find instructions HERE and just search for the "Birthday Calendar in the Box".  I resized/revamped mine...a warning here...I used a LOT of paper for this project...I mean LOTS...not to mention LOTS of embellies!!!!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
this is the front with the decorated band on...
DP is Maja Designs...
I loaded on the cheesecloth that I distressed with Ranger Distress Ink "Bundled Sage"...
the matts are Go Kreate #360030...
flowers are Wild Orchid...
 side view without the band...
the inside pockets with the months (computer generated)...
 closer...
tabs were made using We R Memory Keepers "Tab" punch...
a bit closer for the center...
butterflies are Memory Box "Darla Butterfly" and "Vivienne Butterfly"...
leaf sprays are Cottage Cutz "Bella Leafy Branch"...
I added lots of pearls...
this is sweet "I Give You A Rose Tilda" from the Sakura 2015 collection...
coloured with my copics...
I added Liquid Pearls to my image...
I cut slits in the band and threaded lace all around...
the back and sides all look like this...

Wow that was FUN but very time consuming!!

Now I hope that you will visit my fabulous team members over at Fussy and Fancy to see what they have to show you...so many gorgeous creations for you to see!
