Midweek Magnolia-Challenge #111 "Show Us Some Metal"!!

Happy Wednesday crafty friends!!

Today begins a brand new challenge at Midweek Magnolias!!  Our theme for the next two weeks is "Show Us Some Metal"...so pull out all your "metal" bling and come on over and join us!!

Our wonderful sponsor is Magnolia Sweden...who is offering a mystery prize to our lucky winner!!

I have had quite a few birthday cards to make...the first four months of the year seem to be crazy with family and friends birthdays...lol!!!

Here is my card for a dear friend...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I waffled back and forth trying to decide what style to do...
I decided to make it a simple style but wanted to add a metal zipper so went crazy ripping the paper...lol...
I added lace around the sides that weren't ripped...
and four metal corners...covered with Chunk White Frantage...
this sweet image is "Divine Tilda" from the Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection...
coloured with my distress re-inkers...
and dusted with Shabby Pink Frantage...
flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts

"Happy Birthday is LOTV...

 I love these metal zippers!!!...
the ripped papers and two other metal corners...

I will add the personalized sentiment on the left...
the sentiment was made using wording from several Hero Arts stamps...
the lady bug and grass/butterflies are both Magnolia but sorry can't remember which collection...

Another birthday card down!!  Now it's your turn...hop on over to Midweek Magnolias and check out the awesome creations that my teamies have to show you!!

All materials are listed above!!
