House of Mouse Guest Designer Challenge #177 "Food Glorious Food"!!!

Good Monday morning dear friends!!

Today begins a brand new challenge over at House of Mouse...this time it's all about "Food"!!  Now that should be an easy one right!!!  Can't wait to see what the DT have come up with...pop over and check them out HERE!!!

This is also the end of my Guest Designer term...SAD face here!!!  I have SO ENJOYED these four chances to join in with the FABULOUS House of Mouse design team...working with these sweet little mice and friends has just been a blast!!!

I have made my Grandson Quinn's 2nd birthday card using this challenge as inspiration!!

I cut out a circle so that the inside image shows through, stitched on rick rack and added small pearls...

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #121-"Pets"!!!

Good Friday morning dear friends!!!

It's my turn to host a challenge at Fussy and Fancy and I have chosen "Pets" as my theme!!  We are being sponsored this challenge by the WONDERFUL Crafty Sentiments!!  Why did I chose "Pets"...umm well...these two boys keep me on my toes but their love is unconditional!!!

The sweet little Beagle/hound is Cash and the gorgeous Golden is Leo!!  Cash is a rescue that we have had for about two and a half years...Cash needed some TLC when we first found him...Leo we waited almost a year for...well he came with some digestive issues and some other minor health issues...that's where their "nutritionist" comes into the picture!  She has worked with me to balance out Leo's diet and work through some of Cash's issues...last week I found out that she is leaving for another job...SAD face here!!  Well I decided to make her a little card that I will put a spa gift card in from the boys to thank her for the care that she has shown to both!!

Blog-a-versary Celebration Project!!!

Good Thursday morning dear friends!!

I wanted to thank you all for your visits and comments over the last three weeks...they are so very much appreciated!!!

In this post I will show you what I have been TRYING to get completed for the last several weeks!!!  I don't seem to be finding a lot of spare time for crafting lately...summer is just so busy with yard work, house work , entertaining and work itself!!!

I have had this project in mind for a LONG time now but just never was able to find the time to transfer from head to hands to project!!  I first saw a cupcake tutorial on the FABULOUSLY talented Julie Price's blog several years ago...actually I believe that it was 2011!!

Here is my "Celebration Project"...still not completed but this is what I have so far...

I have started decorating a cupcake stand with mini cupcakes...

all of the Tildas are from the new Pink Lemonade Collection...

Well these are the four new mini cupcakes that I have added...the cupcake from my blog-a-versary is also on the stand...there are still quite a holders to fill...I'll just keep plugging away...LOL!!!

House of Mouse Guest Designer Card for Challenge # 176!!

Good Monday morning all!!

First I MUST apologize for not posting an update for my "Blog-a-very"!!!  I have not had time to finish my "Celebration" project so have decided to extend the draw post until this Thursday August 14th...that means I will include all comments made by followers up until Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. EST...then I will organize them all and post my draw winner on Thursday!!!!  Thanks for hanging in there with me!! 

Also I need to apologize for not being around to all your wonderful blogs lately...it's been hectic around here!!  I'm hoping to rectify this soon!!!

It's time once again for a new House of Mouse Challenge...this one was SUPER EASY for me as I find my colouring the weakest part of my creating!!!  Can you guess from that hint what this challenge is??!! 

YESSSS... it is..."Leave Your Image Un-coloured"!!!!!  So I get to stamp as many super sweet House of Mouse images as I can fit in and then get busy with the embellishing...LOL!!

WARNING this is picture HEAVY as I DID use as many images as I could fit in...LOL!!!

Here is what I came up with...

this is the front of my "Photo Album" card...

the front actually has four flaps that open up separately...

I made part of a flower on each quarter...they come together to form a flower...

I used three different sizes of Marvy heart punches...the fourth I had to cut by hand to get a suitable size fourth heart...
the leaves were made with my Spellbinders Presto Punch and P5-002 template...

I added three House of Mouse images and in the bottom left corner I just had to use this cut out from the paper...it was too beautiful not to...the butterfly and dragonfly are also die cuts from this matching paper set...

A New Challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs-show us your "Buttons"!!!

Good Wednesday morning dear friends!!!

Today begins a brand new challenge at Fresh Brewed Designs...we want to see buttons, buttons and more buttons!!!

I decided to make another little handbag for storage of some of my craft goodies...yes it will be for buttons!! I made a tag for the bag and decorated it with one of Heather's "Cutie Bugs", some buttons of course and yes Frantage!!

Fresh Brewed Designs August Digi Release!!!

Good Monday morning...hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Today marks the beginning of the latest release at Fresh Brewed Designs...Heather has been very busy drawing up new images for us to play with!!!

I will be working with a sweet little mermaid named "Oceane"...

the idea came into my head to make a sea shell like scene...

I haven't added any sentiments...I will when I decide who to give this to...

I thought that it might be a really nice "box" to give a small gift in...
