Marvelous Magnolia-Challenge #96 "Use Kraft"

I wanted to do something a little different...a little bag made using kraft paper...then had lots of fun decorating!!

coloured with distress re-inkers...

dusted with Shabby Pink and Blue Frantage...

mounted on a matt cut with kraft paper using Spellbinders Lacey Ovals...

"sending" & "you" are cut from kraft paper using Frantic Stamper FRA-DIE-09467...

"warm hugs" is from Stampingbella stamped on kraft tag cut using  Marvy  small tag punch and dusted with Frantage as well...

secured with a crystal stick pin...

flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts...

Totally Tilda and Friends-Challenge #123 "Anything Goes"!

Good Sunday morning dear blogging friends!!

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's and their family's that celebrate today!

Well I'm here today with a heavy heart!!  Today begins another challenge at Totally Tilda and Friends...sadly it will be the last!!!  Susie and Christine have made the VERY HARD decision to close the blog doors! 

My very first ever WIN in a challenge was at Totally Tilda...I always loved playing along in the FUN and INVENTIVE challenges!! 

It has been an honour and privilege to become part of the Totally Tilda Design Team...even though my time as a Tildarette has been short I have been made to feel like part of a special crafting family!!!  Susie...fondly known as "Boss Lady"...and Christine..."Mummy" to us Tildarettes...have been SO VERY welcoming...along with the rest of their veteran team members!!  You're a fun and whacky bunch!! 

Okay...GULP...SNIFFLE...on with the show!

Our final challenge theme is "Anything Goes"...so come on...let's go out with a CREATIVE BANG!!!!!!!

Marvelous Magnolia-Challenge #95-"Ribbon or Twine"

Well happy Monday morning everyone!

Hope that your weekend was amazing!!

Today we begin a brand new challenge at Marvelous Magnolia!!!  This is a super easy one..."Ribbon or Twine"...now how easy is that I ask!!  Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is The Ribbon Girl! 

I decided to go with a simple easel style and used one of my new Tildas and some very old paper from my stash!!    

Here is what I came up with...

now this paper is so old (2007) that when I tried to link it up I couldn't find the site...

I just thought that it fit this image so well...

and then I went and covered most of it up...lol...

but you can get a good look at it on the inside...

I made a trellis using Memory Box "Trellis Border" and the end of a label from Spellbinders Vintage Labels Four...

decorated it with pink and cream/blush cherry blossoms from...

 closer view...

I popped up the trellis using a stack of foam dots...

I've tried different angles to capture the dimension... 

 this little sweetie is "Tilda with Fan" from the Sakura 2015 collection...

coloured with my copics...

some liquid pearls to give it some extra dimension...

 pink and gray twine braided together...

I added a fan charm...
