Midway Reminder at Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge #132-"Christmas"

Good Monday morning!!

Well we're almost at the BIG day!!  This will be the last post at Scrapbook Stamp Society for 2017...SO...come on over and join us in celebrating Christmas and closing out another year!!  Remember Sherri has been very generous...so let's get busy and show her how much we appreciate her!!

I needed another bag to give a gift in so I coloured up this darling image...

Here it is...

I decorated a plain kraft bag...

DP is Maja Design from the Joyous Winterdays collection...
the red fringe across the top is from Michaels...
I added some crocheted lace around the image...

this little darling is Sherri's Image #906...you can find her HERE...

dusted with Chunky White Frantage...
I added Glamour Dust to her pom pom and Glossy Accents to her eyes, buttons, bell, holly berries, dots on her sock and hearts on her shoes...

natural fibres and cording are topped with a red chiffon ribbon, paper pine cone made using
Tim Holtz Pine Cone die...
finished off with a rusty bell....

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #202-"Christmas"

Happy Friday dear blogging friends!

Welcome to my second post of the day...for my Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia please go HERE!!

Today the Fussy and Fancy Girls come together to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all our very best for a Healthy Happy New Year in our last post of 2017!!

Here is what I came up with...

I started with a simple 5x6 card base...
I embossed the white cardstock panel using a Hero Arts stamp and Rangers Silver Embossing powder...
the reindeer were cut using a Magnolia die from the Aspen Holidays 2016 collection...

the larger silver poinsettia is from The Ribbon Girl...

I made the smaller white ones using a Spellbinders Poinsettia die and Foamiran...
the leaves were cut using the same die and green Foamiran...

"Merry Christmas" is a Hero Arts stamp...stamped onto white chiffon ribbon with Stazon...

sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp...die cut is by Spellbinders...

Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia Challenge #153-"Anything Goes"

Happy Sunday dear crafty friends!

Today at Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia we begin our final challenge of 2017 with both teams bringing you our creations today!!

I couldn't find any gingerbread paper in the vast array of paper that I have so I created my own using the little gingerbread stamp from the new Magnolia collection and some embossing powder...

 this darling image is "Gingerbread Tilda" from the new CP 2017 collection...

dusted with Aged Taupe Frantage...
matted on cheesecloth...

ribbon is the crocheted wired ribbon that I bought from Michael's...

I added a gingerbread charm and two tiny gingerbread cookie cutter decorations...

I added lace and tiny gingerbread buttons with red embroidery floss to the bottom...

I stamped a candy cane and tiny gingerbread from the same collection...

coloured with a red oil pastel (though it looks pink) and I added white and deep burgandy stamens...

the smaller white one was made using a Spellbinders poinsettia die...

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #179-"Anything Goes With a Magnolia Image"

Happy Wednesday dear crafty friends!

Welcome to my first post of today...please come and visit me later for my Guest Designer at My Besties Dutch Girl Challenge!

Are the decorations up?...the tree?...presents wrapped or at least bought...lol!...cards done?  

Cards...well that's why I'm here...today we begin our last challenge for this year at Midweek Magnolias...we're taking a break...I sure need it!!  I'm getting a stiff neck from all that colouring!!!  Okay I digress...for this last challenge of 2017 we have the SUPER easy theme of "Anything Goes With a Magnolia Image"...so another chance to get a Christmas card done OR if you're tired of colouring up the Christmas images you can go onto something for the coming year!  Our sponsor is...as always...Magnolia Sweden!

I was SO excited to get my subscription package...I've inked up a few already!!!

Here is what I came up with...

I used Spellbinders Grand Dahlia for the card base...

 I used some Scrapiniec chipboard forms to decorate...

poinsettia is from The Ribbon Girl...

decorated with some beaded berries...
the bow was made using green wired ribbon knotted the topped with red chiffon...
rhinestone circle finishes it off...

 this little darling is "Tilda With Star" from the CP 2017 collection...

coloured with my copics...
I added tiny rhinestones to some of the garland on her tree dress and tiny red dots accented with Glossy Accents to the others...

Guest Designer at Paradise of Magnolia Challenge #60-"Anything Goes"

Good Monday morning dear crafty friends!!

Welcome to my second post of the day!  For my Scrapbook Stamp Society post please go HERE!

I have the honour of being the Guest Designer at Paradise of Magnolia!  And the SUPER easy theme...everyone's fav...is "Anything Goes"!

Now I haven't done a "cupcake" in a while so had the itch to make another!!

Here is what I came up with...

DP for the "cupcake" wrapper is Maja Design from the "Joyous Winterdays" collection...have I told you how much I LOVE this collection...or maybe you've guessed...lol!!...

the "cupcake" is made of Foamiran pointsettias...

I used a Spellbinders Poinsettia die to cut them...

then oil pastels to colour them up a bit...

and finished them off with white stamens...

I added three blue stamen clusters for a bit of colour...

and cheesecloth to cover any bald spots...

"Merry Chistamas" is a Quick Cutz stamp...

and of course the sweet "Little Santa" from the Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection...

I added little rhinestones around the scalloped backing...
