Today at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge we begin a brand new challenge and our fabulous hostess is our talented Sue Drees!!  Sue has choosen as her theme "Favourite Way to Spend the Day"...endless possibilities here!  As always you have the option of "Anything Goes"!  So let's get crafty!!

Well my favourite way to spend the day would have to be playing with my darling Grandkids!!  What more could a Grandma ask for right??!!

Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia-"Shabby Chic"

Happy Sunday dear crafting friends!!

Well we FINALLY have some GORGEOUS weather here!!!  The sun is out and the temps are warm...YAY!!  Lots of yard work going on here...my husband not me...I'll be out there soon enough...lol!!  For me it's the inside...nothing like some sunshine for putting you in the mood for some Spring cleaning!

the butterfly is also from this collection the "Happy Memories Kit" stamp...

 and on the pink tag is the "Happy Memories" part of the stamp...

you can just make out some tiny dragonflies...one is on the mauve tag...

 another arrangement tucked between two butterflies...

 and the bottom arrangement with some lace peeking out...

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #136-"Anything Goes With a Magnolia Image"

Good Wednesday morning dear blogging friends!!

And how is your week going so far??!!  It's been pretty busy for me here...trying to play catch up on just about everything...lol!!

Today we begin a brand new challenge at Midweek Magnolias AND it's super easy..."Anything Goes With a Magnolia Image"!!  Our wonderful sponsor is Magnolia Sweden!

Well in my quest to shake myself out of the winter blues I found this cute little paper mache pot and decided to get a jump on my flower pots by making paper ones...lol!

Here is what I came up with...

it was hard photographing this as it is a little bit tall so the details were hard to capture in just one pic so I had to take quite a few...lol...

here is the pot before and after...

 the flowers were made using Go Kreate #360020 and #120020...

I misted them with water...crumpled them and then straightened to dry...then shaped into flowers...

DP is Graphic 45 Secret Garden...

 this sweet little Tilda is "Hear No Evil Tilda" from the Pink Ribbon 2015 collection...

 I added a wooden flower button strung through with embroidery floss...

 another...

 and the third...

 the back...

I set the flowers on wooden doweling distress with Rangers "Mowed Lawn" Distress Ink...

butterflies are Joy Craft...

 OOOPPPSSS forgot to add pearls to the center of the butterflies...

 and the bottom of the back...

House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge-#217 "In the Garden"

Good Monday morning dear blogging friends!

Well we had snow AGAIN...then rain...UGHH!!!  I thought this was supposed to be Spring??!!

Okay onto to a better subject...today we begin a brand new challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge!!  Our super talented Mousey Sister Snoopy is our hostess for the next two weeks and she has chosen "In the Garden" as her theme...YAY!!!  Flowers, butterflies and sweet mice...of course you have the option of "Anything Goes" as always!

Midway Reminder at Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Maganolia Challenge #132-"Pearls or Gems"

Happy Sunday dear blogging friends!!

I hope that you're all enjoying a most wonderful weekend!

Today we're at the  midway point in our "Pearls or Gems" challenge at Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia!!  Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Live and Love Crafts!  You still have almost two weeks to inspire us with your creations AND a chance to win the Live and Love prize!

Now I have to tell you that I've been struggling lately with the mojo...hmmm...time to think outside the box...I need something different...hmmm...different colours??...style??...SOMETHING!!

Here is what I came up with...

so the card base is a basic 6X6 square...

then I fashioned a fan from some of my beloved Maja paper...

I went with the navy/white paper as it seems that pink and pales blues are my normal go to colours...

the fan is finished off with ruffle ribbon topped with a pearl strand...

then I added a few feathers around the base...

 this sweet little image is "Sakura Tilda" from the Sakura 2015 collection..

coloured with my copics...

dusted with Frantage and I added Liquid Pearls randomly around her...

and YES that is pink lace with gems...

 and YES pink and pale blue (well it is my fav colour combo after all) flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts...

threaded throughout is another strand of pearls...

"birthday girl" is Hero Arts...

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #161-"Green and Pink"

Good Friday morning dear blogging friends!!

I'm excited to bring you my post today as I am the hostess for the next two weeks at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge!!   I chose a colour challenge "Green and Pink" as I thought that we...well I anyway...needed some Spring like colours and inspiration to get us/me out this winter funk!!! We are being sponsored by one of my fabourite on-line shops Magnolia-licious!!! 

Also I have been itching to try out the "Birthday Calendar Box/File" that I have seen recently on several blogs!!!  You can find instructions HERE and just search for the "Birthday Calendar in the Box".  I resized/revamped mine...a warning here...I used a LOT of paper for this project...I mean LOTS...not to mention LOTS of embellies!!!!!

Here is what I came up with...
