Totally Tilda Challenge #118-"Coffee or Tea"!

Good Sunday morning crafty friends!!

I sure hope that every one is enjoying a wonderful weekend and hopefully some Spring like weather!

Today begins a brand new challenge at Totally Tilda and Friends...it's all about "Coffee or Tea" for this challenge!  Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I just received my very own personalized stamp from Nikki of Bunny Zoe's AND I used for the first time on my card for today!!  So come on and show us your creations using any stamp (sorry no digis please) coffee/tea related, coffee/tea colour or embellishments!!  With our weather starting to turn a little nicer how lovely is it to take that morning cup of coffee or tea out on the back deck or patio and enjoy listening to the birds and watching nature begin to wake up after a long winter!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I stuck with a simple style...
I cut the front edge a little bit fancier using Go Kreate #260022...
Tilda's matt is Go Kreate #120021...
"So Special" is LOTV stamped on "So Wrapped Tilda Lace" tag from the SCL12 collection...
the DP is all from Maja "Coffee in the Arbor" 6X6 pad...
flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts...
I added distress inked cheesecloth behind the matt...

this elegant little lady is "Afternoon Tea Tilda" from the Little London 2013 collection...
she is masked onto the "Afternoon Tea Bench" from the same collection...
coloured with my distress re-inkers...
I added some chiffon ribbon and a bow along the edge, "Tea Label" is Magnolia...sorry can't remember which collection...

close up of the tea bag charm, spoon and tea pot...

and this is my personalized stamp from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...

So that is my card...the inside is finished with the same papers...I will add my sentiment when it's ready to go to it's new home...lol!!!  Hop on over to Totally Tilda and Friends and check out the beautiful creations that my talented teamies have to show you then it's over to you!!!!

Midway Reminder at Simply Magnolia-"Embossing (wet or dry)"

Happy Sunday dear blogging friends and welcome to my second post of the day!!

For my very FIRST Totally Tilda post of earlier today please go HERE!!!

I'm here today with a midway reminder to come on over and join us at Simply Magnolia!!!  You still have until 12 pm. (GMT) Saturday...April 4th! Our winner for this challenge will win a Guest Designer spot...we'd love for you to join us!!

Now for me this challenge is a super easy one as I LOVE embossing...both wet and dry...but especially the wet as it means that I get to use my beloved Frantage!!!!!  I decided to make an Easter card for my darling Granddaughter Mia!!

Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I made an envelope style card with an insert...
the card using "Tilda with Inez the Bunny" from the Animal of the Year 2014 collection...
I coloured them with my distress re-inkers...
the DP is Maja from the Sofiero Collection...
then added a heart/lace border using a Martha Stewart punch...
Tilda is matted on two Go Kreate dies...#360030 & #120030...
 closer view...
I tucked some cheesecloth around the edges of the smaller die cut...
the top of the card close up...
"Happy Easter" is Hero Arts...
the stick pin runs through a lace crocheted heart...
I added some small blue beads, chiffon ribbon, shabby seam binding and a rabbit charm...
the banner die is Spellbinders Large Banners...
for the insert I ran a piece of the same Maja paper through a Cuddlebug script embossing folder...
this is "Little Hoppy" sorry not sure what collection...
I added some more lace and a small flower arrangement...
and of course Frantage!!!...
the pull for the insert I made with ribbon seam binding and crystal strand...
 closer view...
the sentiment is a Magnolia stamp from the Hoppy Easter 2010 collection...
and this is the back of the insert...
you can just make ou the script writing embossed on it...
I will add our personalized sentiment to it for Easter...
