Happy Birthday using Pisces Tilda!!

Good Saturday evening all!!

Well...my hubbie is away so I really get to play!!!

No dinners to cook, quick clean ups , office work all caught up so time to spend in the craft room...although I did spend about three hours this morning clearing our driveway of...YES...MORE SNOW...UGH!!!!

I received my "Zodiac Collection" in the mail on Monday and have been chomping at the bit to get down to using them!!

I started with Pisces as that is my sign as well as my husband's!!  I decided to go with mauves as that is the shade of my birthstone!

Here is what I came up with...

please click on first image for a close view/slideshow...
I used the twisted easel style for my card...
base is cut out of kraft cardstock using a Go Kreate die...
the rest of the matts using the smaller sizes of the same die...

this is the oh SO sweet "Pisces Tilda" from the Zodiac Collection 2014...
Happy Birthday stamp is Hero Arts...
 closer view of sweet Tilda...
the inside sentiment is a Magnolia stamp "Happiness Be Yours"...

And there you have it...my first card using the Zodiac Collection!!!  I can't wait to do the next one...LOL!!!

  1. Another lovely card Beth. I did smile reading your comment. Just one question though - what is Sook Wang Tape? Never heard of it. Oh I can relate though, we have a Springer Spaniel. Judy x

  4. Beth, you know I love your creations....and this is no exception! You do it everytime...you create uniqueness! (Hope that is word!!!) LOL
I just love the shape of the card....kind of resembles a clam shell! I love that pansie ribbon ( I actually have some of that in my stash) it totally works, the green really does work. Love the little zipper embellishment with the bling hanging from it. Tilda is coloured perfectly with the copics and the frontage is so nice. I can totally see why you love that stuff!! It really does finish a piece!

  9. Beth, another stunning card. Beautiful shape and easel. So many awesome details, love the zipper pull! Fun Tilda, love mermaids. I wasn't excited about this line, but now that I have seen what you have done with it.....gorgeous. Your attention to detail is fantastic.

We had a dusting of snow last night, enought to put an ice layer over our pond after it just thawed on Thursday and Friday with the sun coming out. Ugh....can't wait for it to stop snowing, like everyone else, I am so sick of boots and shovels....

    Hugs

He is always unhappy with our UK summers, too cold for him!!!!! I liked that you understood the CAS section in my post honey!!! I entered your challenge too.
