Pamper Yourself-A Fresh Brewed Look!!

Good morning dear friends!!!

Today marks the beginning of April's "Month Long Choose Your Challenge"!!  You have a choice of using our photo inspiration, sketch or BOTH if you're really motivated!!!  So come on and join us for a fun challenge by linking up HERE!!

I am on the photo inspiration team...when I look at this photo I dream of relaxing in a lovely bath, candles softly shimmering, a good book in hand and a lovely steaming cup of coffee!!!   UUMMM sounds so good!!!!!

Okay dreaming aside I decided to create a gift box filled with pampering goodies that I will give to a friend that is in much need of a nice relaxing day...topped off with this LOVELY mermaid image designed by our talented Heather...
please click on the first image for a closer view and slideshow...
I made a custom sized gift box using several layers of brown cardstock...
it fits a paperback book, bubble bath, body lotion and candle...

a side view...
I decorated the outside with flowered paper and lace...

the card features Fresh Brewed Designs "Akilah the Mermaid"...
when I came across her in Heather's shop she just made me think of the photo...
a lovely bathtub, book and a steaming cup of coffee...
closer view...
I hand cut a claw footed bathtub...used gold embossing powder for the claw feet and Shabby pink Frantage for the tub...
the inside sentiment is computer generated...

  1. Beth, another gorgeous project. Love mermaids, she is a sweetie. Fran-tage looks great on the tub. Your projects are always so detailed and all the extras you add make giving this gift to a friend a real treasure. Your coloring is spot on too. Just a lovely gift made with love.
