House Mouse Challenge #204-"Fall/Halloween"!

Good Monday morning dear blogging friends...and how was your weekend!!

Today at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge we being a brand new challenge...hosted by our most wonderful Sue Kment!  Sue has chosen "Fall/Halloween" as her theme for the next two weeks...as always you have the option of "Anything Goes"!

So I went with a Halloween card for this one!

DP is from my stash...I added chicken wire then my image matted on black...

I had some difficulties photographing for some reason...my camera is broken and my phone didn't want to take this first one very clearly...

Midweek Magnolias Challenge #123-"Christmas is Coming"!!

Good Wednesday morning crafty friends!!

I so love the look of a white Christmas card but do find them a bit of a challenge...so I decided to tackle one!!

Here is what I came up with...

layered with cheesecloth, matt embossed using Cuttlebug Snowflakes embossing folder...

 this darling Tilda is "It's Cold Outside Tilda" from the Waiting for Christmas 2014 collection...

coloured with my distress inks...

dusted with Chunky White Frantage...

I bought some new 3D White Frantage that I used at her feet...love it...but I think I've covered up much of it with the cheesecloth...

decorated with pearls and Glamour Dust...

buttons are covered with Glossy Accents...

trees are cut using Dee's Distinctively Small & Large dies... 

  diamante snow flake stick pin is decorated with shabby white seam binding and white pine cone charms...

 snow flakes are made using Crealies Creative Flowers CL CF #18...

 banner is by Spellbinders stamped using Stampingbella "merry Christmas"...

 I matted the sentiment matt over chessecloth...

stamp is Hero Arts...

Midway at Simply Magnolia-"Vintage"

Good Sunday morning dear blogging friends!!

We're at the half way point of our Simply Magnolia "Vintage" challenge...it's Team Glamour's turn to show you our takes on this challenge!!  Our fabulous sponsor is Live and Love Crafts!!!

I've started to panic a bit when I see the Christmas count down on some of your wonderful blogs...SO...a Christmas card was in order!

Here is what I came up with...

I decided to go with a simple style...

I found this fabulous "vintage" looking paper in my stash...

sorry can't remember who it's by...

 this little sweet heart is from the "Tilda with Rudolph" from the Christmas Story 2012 collection...

coloured with my distress inks...

dusted with Chunky White Frantage...

framed by the gathered tulle ribbon...

 closer view...

 pearl/diamante stick pin decorated with a diamante Christmas tree charm (which is turned the wrong way so you can't make it out...lol), chiffon ribbon, beaded berries and some beads from my stash...

the tag made using a Whimsy stamp...

the poinsettias were made using Tim Holtz Sizzix "Tattered Poinsettia"...

I applied gesso and then some brushed with Tattered Angels glitter paint...

the lace is also on the front on the card...covered up of course...lol...
