Time to kick it into HIGH gear and get that shopping, wrapping, baking and entertaining going!! Okay I'm tired already...lol! We are going to start things off on Saturday with a family tree trimming day...lots of food...letting the kids craft an ornament of their own for the tree...OH...and I have a family project to surprise everyone with! My youngest son and my grandsons LOVE Lego...SO...I bought the Lego "Disney Castle" for the family to chip away at whenever we're together...one of our spare rooms is a Disney room so I'm going to set it up in there and we'll build when the mood strikes...I think it's over 6000 pieces...YIKES!!
Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
I decided to make a little Christmas themed storage box...
the base and top were made using Go Kreate #380010...
card base is Go Kreate #360030...
DP is Maja Design...
I found these "drawer handles" in my stash...not sure where they came from...
snowflakes are Joy Craft...
bow is Cheery Lynn Design...
"greetings of the season" stamped on ribbon is Stampingbella...
this is "Snowy Tilda with Gifts" from the A Lovely Christmas 2015 collection...
coloured with my copics and dusted with Chunky White Frantage...
framed with cheesecloth...
tree is Scarpiniec chipboard...topped with a diamante circle/star...
painted white and dusted with Glamour Dust...which is hard to see in these pics...
beaded berries are scattered randomly...
And that is another Christmas gift done!! Now won't you pay a visit to Marvelous Magnolia and check out the gorgeous creations that my talented teamies have come up with...then come on over and join us!
