It's been WAY TOO LONG!!!!
I hope that you've all enjoyed your summer...or for some of you...your winter?!...we've had such a hot and humid summer that it's hard for me to believe that some parts of the globe are actually experiencing winter...LOL!!!
Today I'm here to welcome you back to Lovely hAnlgar or Sweet Magnolia...we've had our summer break and now it's time to get crafty again!! Our challenge for the next month is "Dies and Punches"...super easy right?! Our SUPER team co-leader Jay has put together a surprise package for one lucky winner!
Well I must confess that I'm feeling VERY rusty!!! It's been busy here with the house and the yard work...not to mention work itself and spending time with the Grand-kiddies...OH...some news...we have another on the way...that will make five fabulous darlings!!!
Okay I must get on to the task at hand...
Here is what I came up with...
please click on the first image for a closer view/slideshow...
my card base was made using GO Kreate die #360020
DP is Maja Design from the "Enjoying the Outdoors" collection...
my image was cut out using a Marvy circle punch which I then matted on a circle that I made using strips of paper punched out with a scalloped border punch scored/folded accordion style...sorry no brand name on the punch...
"Happy Birthday" is a Frantic Stamper die cut...
the butterflies were made using a Joy Craft die...
this little darling is "Puppy Love Tilda" from the Winter Wonderland 2013 collection...
coloured with my copics...
dusted with Shabby White Frantage...
I added a tiny butterfly punched from a mini Marvy butterfly punch to the gift tag...
the Happy Birthday was added atop a stick pin decorated with white chiffon ribbon/beads/butterfly charm...
the Joy Craft butterflies...
And there you have my first card in over two months...the craft room is still in shambles...the outdoor work has taken precedence the last few months!!
All materials are listed/linked above.
Until next time...thank you for taking the time to stop by!! Your visits and comments are SO very much appreciated!!!
